Questions about changes to DHS

Ok, haven't been on here much lately. And I'm now seeing that lights motor action closed for good. Is that right?? And animation Academy was one of our favorite activities to do to get out of the heat and to make our own souvenirs. Is that closed for good or just temporarily for reconstruction? And the Disney Jr dance party closed for good, right? And what kind of changes are they making to toy story?
Personally, this is one of my favorite parks. We usually spend at least one full day here and repeat several attractions. ...toy story, tot, rrc. Sad to see things closed for good.

I agree. When my DD was 5, she learned how to draw Minnie Mouse at the Animation Academy. She is now 13 and that artwork proudly hangs on her wall. When we started discussing going back to WDW, the first thing she wanted to do is go to the Animation Academy and learn how to draw another character.

If anyone knows of anyplace else in the kingdom we can do that activity, please let me know.

I've heard that AoA has classes for guests, also inside DisneyQuest they have classes but it's on a digital board not paper.

Animation academy is permanently gone. It is now where the Star Wars launch bay is. However, like other posters put, you can stil do a class at Art of animation hotel and Disney Quest

Toy Story midway mania was given a 3rd track to alleviate the wait times. That's all they did with that ride. Toy Story land is being built

No. They haven't began construction on it yet. Still in the demolition and clearing of space phase I believe. It's not estimated to be open until 2018-2019

Pandora at Animal Kingdom will be opening up before Toy Story and Star Wars
