Questions about Autograph Books

I'm wanting to make just a basic autograph book, so I was thinking about taking 65 lb cardstock and having the sheets cut in half and bound.

My questions are this:

1: Is 65 lb too heavy or too light for an autograph book page?
2: Is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 too big of a size for pages?

I think 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 is just fine. I am not sure about 65 lb since I really have to feel it to judge.

Thanks, I looked at the 110 cardstock, but it was way too thick. I just want something a little sturdier that will hold up to being put in and out of a bag all day.

If you have it bound at Office Depot or Office Max you can get a hard black back cover and a clear front cover to help keep it protected.
