Questions about AP discounts

When these first come out, are they usually (at least initially) good for all resorts on all days (unless the offer, as written, expressly says otherwise)?

For example, let's say I want to book a very popular resort (e.g., the Poly) for a week during an AP discount period (e.g., the first week in December) and I call Disney to apply the discount the first day the offer is available. Am I likely to get it for my entire stay? For weekdays only? Or will I possibly not get it at all (will I be told "this offer is not good for the Poly", even though the offer, as written, doesn't say anything about excluding the Poly)?

And what exactly does "Minimum stay requirements may apply for Friday or Saturday arrivals" mean?

If a resort you want to stay at has enough Annual Pass rates available then you can reserve it for the amount of days you plan to stay there.

For example this coming December I am staying in a Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk Inn from 12/08/11 - 12/22/11 which I got with a 40% Annual Pass discount.

I posted this yesterday after calling early on the day the AP discounts came out so just pasted it here:

While pricing different resorts on the AP site, one thing I noticed is that alot of resorts did not have any standard rooms available. None of the three All Stars did, CSR didn't, PORS didn't, and WL didn't. CBR didn't have any rooms available at all, in any category. The only moderate that had standard rooms was POFQ, which really surprised me, because it is usually the least discounted resort and sells out the fastest because it's so small.
