We'll have a car. Now we are wondering if we can park at the other resorts for free or is there a resort fee? If we park at the Boardwalk Inn for our PS at Flying Fish can we leave the car in the resort parking lot and go to Epcot for a few hours or will we need to go to the Epcot parking lot?

What are the rooms like? I got a great Ap rate so it's hard not to pick this resort.

How far away by car am I from Epcot? From the Boardwalk area?

As this is a value resort do I need to pack items RE; soaps, shampoos, etc. or will these be provided as they are at the deluxes?

Bell service? Or will I be able to park the car close enough to act as my own bell?

Any information will help.

We too are booked for ASMu, in February. I've been to the other AS's and have always been quite satisfied; ie, clean, nice pools for the kids (and adults too!), tasty food court. I can't answer your question about parking, but you'll get lots of input here. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay.
I'm curious about your AP rates, as I've been watching for them for our trip. When are you going and what kind of discount did you get/ Any insight is much appreciated.

BTW, rooms have 2 double beds and a dresser with about 6 large drawers. There is a small table with 2 chairs also. At the AS's, only Mickey soap and wall-dispensed shampoo and conditioner are provided, so you might bring your favorites.
I've never used Bell service, but have heard that they will bring your luggage to you, within an hour. Parking can be hard to find some times and it can be quite a trek to your room.
It's a value resort, with value-type amenities, but for the price, you can't beat it! I always stay at AS's, leaves more money for souvies!;)

We like the All Stars and Music is my favorite. You can park at the other resorts for free but make sure you have your parking sign in your window. You will need it for free parking at the parks as well. You can park at the Boardwalk for your ressies and then leave your car here to go to EPCOT. I don't think they have the thrre hour limit like the MK resorts since the Boardwalk is an attraction that needs parking. You can't park at the MK resorts and then take the monorail to MK. They enforce the parking time limit and will tow your car.

The rooms are the smallest of the WDW resorts but they are ok. Even with two kids and all of our stuff spread out we still have enough room. I only wish there was room for a larger table as my kids like to use it and it is very small. Other than that I have no complaints.

We bring our own shampoo and soap just because we have very sensitive skin and I like my soap/shampoo better.

Bell service has always been good. You can check in and drop off your lugage. It has always been in our rooms when we return. It can be a little hike to where you park, depending on room location.

It takes 10 min at the most to drive to the EPCOT area. It is very easy to get around. Same for the Boardwalk area.

Have a great stay.

monaslw-----I got an AP rate in early Dec '02 of $49.00 per night --$55 .00 includes all taxes. Thanks for you help with the room.

bobcat---thank you for your help with the parking ?'s.

I also have a question. I may be staying alone at ASMU, for two nights, and I was wondering if ALL the King rooms are handicapped, or just a select few? As a solo traveller, I don't need two double beds, and don't want to have to push them together to make a king bed. And all the handicapped rooms have a roll in shower, that "floods" the bathroom right??

Thanx

Jules

Parking-
This past June, the Boardwalk was a hit or miss on the three hour rule. I personally think that they enforce it in the morning but not at night when people start arriving to visit the Boardwalk. Does anyone know if this is true?

If you are willing to pay a small fee ($6-$7) you can get valet parking that is good all day at any resort that offers it. This is especially nice if you go resort hopping.
