Questions about AKV Concierge

Hi all,

I just tried multiple times to search for this topic and the search function just would not run. I'm sure these questions have been addressed before so I apologize.

We are new owners at AKV and in December I'm going to try and book a reservation for early Nov 2009. I would like to at least try for a one bedroom concierge villa. I know my odds of getting it are slim. My main question though is whether these rooms also have a view of the savannah. If they don't then I'll just go for a SV room instead.

Is there any where I can find a list of what concierge service includes?

I know that the booking policy has recently changed. Is the fact that we would be checking in on a Friday likely to help or hurt our chances of getting the room of our choice? Would it be better at all to check in on a Thursday? If so we might be able to swing it.

Thanks for any insight anyone has. This will be our very first trip to WDW!!!!

I am still kind of curious as to how the booking policy affects availability but I'm guessing there are a lot more 1 bedroom SV villas available so I should be good if I book right at 11 months.

Thank you! That was just the info I needed. Since it's our first trip to WDW and AKL i just have to be sure to get a SV room for my animal loving girls. So we'll do Concierge another time when my youngest is old enough for the Sunrise Safari.

It sure doesn't get much better than this! Life is pretty good!
