Hi all-
Long time Disney family here but somehow we've never eaten at
the 50's PT or the Garden Grill.

First off, the Disney site says the 50's PT tables are for 4. We have a family of 5. Do they have regular tables like the Sci-Fi?

Garden Grill, any good?

For both restaurants do they have a kids menu? From the menu's I see online
I don't see any kids fare? Am I wrong?

Thanks all!

We're there from Sept 17 through the 26th and it's getting hard to think about anything else!!

We have been to 50's Prime Time with atleast 6 or 7 people in our party. We really liked it. Good southern food. Waitress were funny!

I personally like the Garden Grille alot... we have been there twice with young children (aged 3-7) and they really enjoyed it. I don't exactly remember what they ate, but it seemed like they had stuff specifically for children. Very unique, cool restauant. The food was good and the characters came by our table several times.

We've eaten at both places with party of 6 - we were seated together with no problem.

Garden Grill is just okay. Nothing spectacular. Good for the character interaction, but not someplace I'd chose if not for the character interaction.

We LOVE 50's Prime Time--we usually hit it every visit.

Garden Grill--we haven't eaten there in probably 10 years. Our first experience there was so bad that we never went back. It was just so bad that I am so afraid to try it again. Of course, that is crazy because it has changed so much since we were there! But...whenever we are in the Land, Sunshine Seasons has such a nice variety of food that we just grab something there.

These are two of my favorites - unfortunately, I couldn't get us in to Garden Grill for this upcoming trip (it's hard to get reservations now that it's only open for dinner). I like 50sPT for the "show", and GG for the food - which is usually very fresh (is grown in the building - and the catfish is raised there) and just wonderful. For simple, fresh food, I don't think it can be beat.

Then again, I'm a simple person, with simple tastes, who's pretty easy to please.

Prime Time is Great and we go every Disney trip (several times a year). We usually have 4 adults and 2 kids and there is plenty of room. The kids menu is typical but good. They are always willing to make a few minor adjustments if the kids have a preference for something.

And the dessert menu is one of the best......get the PB&J milkshake...:thumbsup2
