Awhile back I covered some regional eats like bizarre flavors of bratwurst and pickles. Today, it's something I'm seeing right now in stores. And since Dateline rejected my submission, I'm forced to publish on the Dis:

What in the Sam Hill is going on with some of these snacks?

Potato chips that taste like other snacks? Homey doth not play that.

And speaking of potato chips, do we need them in our candy too?

Sprechen sie nasty?

And finally, do you like your cotton candy pickle-flavored?

as for the layes-the ones they made that were flavored as reuben sandwiches were AWSOME and a favorite in our home.

as for the reeses-reminds me of a 'homer' rice krispie treat we got at universal's simpson's area. it contained both crushed potato chips and chocolate chips. the saltyness of the potato chips play SO WELL off sweetness and chocolate.

i'll pass on cotton candy in general.

I know some people who love those Reese’s with the potato chips in them. Also the ones with pretzel pieces inside. Maybe they like the crunch they add to the candy bar?

One of the grossest snacks I've ever had is the popcorn flavored jelly beans from Jelly Belly. The bean boozled challenge is next level disgusting.

I just saw Reese Cups with mini-bits of Reece's puffs inside them, sounds yummier than chips.

I love Funyuns and I tried those chips. I didn’t think they tasted like Funyuns at all. Definitely would not buy again.

Peanut butter and potato chips is a winning combination. I literally just finished a PB and PC sandwich for lunch. I haven't had one since I was about 12. It was delicious!

I never understood why any of these flavors are for a 'limited time only'. If it is popular seems they would want to keep making them. Do they think you are more likely to buy something if only available in 'limited' quantities?

They keep churning out new flavors, so after a while it would just be too unwieldy to keep them all.

Lays flavored as foods, especially the ones from different parts of the world, that I can understand. Many of those are great! But chips flavored after Doritos and Cheetos? Why not just buy Doritos and Cheetos?

I know, we are at the point where they are making potato chips that taste like other kinds of chips - we've really come full circle on this! Don't even get me started on cereal!

I mean, I love some sugar cereals, but it's basically just candy now! 🤣
