If you had the chance to move to Florida would you?

I have been given the chance to move to Florida, buy a home more than twice the size of my current home, with a pool, hot tub, 10 minutes from the beach, and 2 hours from WDW. I know so whats the catch, I would be living with my mother again.

I'm a single mom of two boys, I'm an RN with many years of experience, so getting a job is not an issue, I guess I would like to hear from people who live in extended households. Does it really work? What are the complications? My mom and I get along really well. I'm 41, and she is not getting any younger, I know she is lonely down there. ( we lived there for years but I was transfered up here). So what would you do?

I'd go for it. It sounds like a great expereince for your kids to spend more time with their grandma, and have more space. :)

My cousin, her DH & two DDs recently moved back in with her mother and one of her brothers. It's working out quite well, and the girls love having their nana and uncle near them. :)
