On Feb 10 I sold an item on ebay--4 days later and after trying to contact the buyer with no response I

opened a non payment case--right after I did that I heard from the buyer he was trying to pay me but shipping would be $48 since I had to ship to the UK which Ive done before with no problems using the global shipping part of ebay--the buyer also asked if I would ship to an adress in CA so shipping would be cheaper--he also asked if I would calculate the shipping---yet he never sent me the address or zip code which I thought was strange???

so today was the 4th day of the non payment case so I was going to close it out so I could relist it

so now I noticed theres a message (its where under sold items on the right hand side theres a little blue dash when I put the mouse on top of it it says

dispute process has blocked buyer from making payment

I have no clue what this means--if its because of the non payment case thats the reason why I opened it in the first place was because I didnt get payment--so that doesnt make sense

so does anyone have any idea as to what this could be--if I contact ebay would they tell me

here I was so happy when this sold and Im still not done with it

thanks all

I wonder if there was a problem with the buyer that they discovered? Seems a little odd to me that they wanted something shipped to the UK, then CA instead.

Call eBay as soon as possible. I had a problem like this a while back, and they kept changing where to send it, originally was going to Germany, I waited 4 days and had to contact her the buyer -shipping was to expensive, so after another couple of days she decided that she wanted to send them NY to a cousins house and they were going to deliver it to them when visiting, she was okay with the price but did not pay, so I contacted her again another day or two.. then she decides (the buyer) she wants to wants me to ship over night as her cousin was leaving in a day or two to Germany, but once I let her know the price, it was to costly, so after a couple of days and me contacting her again, she then wanted me to ship back to Germany, when I sent her the invoice she tried to say that's not the price she was trying to get it for the cost for sending it to NY regular priority mail. I told her to re-read all the emails back and forth. She kept insisting, so after 5 days of this, I sent her a final request for payment. Waited 48 hours ( due to the time change), then opened a case against her, then she opened a case against me for not sending her item.. what in the world:scared1: the real kicker here was, she stated that she paid for it...... So I called eBay and they helped me resolve this mess. They took care of it. The thing is I could not relist my item for over 2 weeks..

This is why I no longer sell on ebay. They have made things so hard for the seller. If I remember right the buyer has 7 days to pay, unless that has changed. And you can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. There address is suppose to match the card they are using for sending items. But I would not send over seas as it is so costly. I am glad they took care of it for you.

Your buyer sounds like a scammer. NEVER EVER ship to any address other than a buyer's verified address. You will lose all protections if the package is not received. Finish the non-payment case and relist.

I do not think your buyer is necessarily a scammer, but most likely was unaware of the customs fees and additional charges if you sold the item through GSP. The buyer was probably wanting you to ship to either a friend or an expediter as the shipping cost would be much cheaper. At this point, you absolutely should contact eBay to find out what your options are. It sounds like you will need to cancel the sale. Perhaps, if you work out something with the buyer, you can relist the item with different shipping options, and he/she could repurchase. Good luck!
