Question - what to do when adding more pages and

the holes dont line up?

I'm new to scrapbooking, and I've jumped headfirst into a circle journal, so I need to add pages for my new Dis friends - but the holes dont line up?

Unfortunately I think you need to buy new sheet protectors (i.e. another brand). Not all post bound albums have the same spacing on the posts. If they are just shifted up or down a little bit, but still fit the posts I don't worry about it, but that's just me.

We have one craft store in the area that has one sheet protector from each package taped to the shelf below the product. It's very handy because you can take the scrapbook you need to match and see if they fit.

If you have the original packaging of the scrapbook it should tell you what brands are compatible with your book.. Unfortunately, they are not all the same. I had to deal with this not long ago with my 12x12 book.. talk about fit to be tied when I got home.. Now, I make a habit of taking a sheet with me and or the book (part that says what sheets to use) with me to buy extras.

I've bought many packs of page protectors that don't line up with the posts on my album. I just mark where the holes should be and punch new holes with a paper punch. Always works fine. Takes a little time to get the holes in the right place, but it punches easy.

If it's in my own albums (like family or Disney), and as long as they're just a "little off", I usually just put them on the posts where they fit. Since it's for a CJ, I might try to look for the others that fit or do what hezreck said and re-punch new holes. I know what a pain it can be to find the ones that fit! Good luck!!
