Question?To travel end of Feb. 08-beg. of March 08 or not? What are the crowds like?

My husband who is not crazy for Disney but willing to travel back with myself and our two dd's in 08 because we took two years off and went on carribean style vacations instead doesn't want to go in the end of January beginning of February because of the cool whether. I am trying to find out how the crowds are at the end of Feb. beginning of March because on our last trip I forgot about Presidents week and we hit it midway through our vacation. Wasn,t too bad though as we had an idea of what we wanted to do looks like Presidents Day is on Feb 21 in 08. Any opinions. I would love for our next trip to be a little less hectic as far as the crowds are concerned. Also does anyone know just how busy it is during Mardi Gras week which will be Feb 5 in 08?

i would like to know too! I went the week before Presidents this year, for our first trip and it was really crowded. Plus my DD3 was sick the 5 days we stayed so we missed out on alot. I too, would like to go next Feb but thought the last week is suppose to be better. I know the rates are higher but if crowds are better i really don't want to miss as much as we did this year. Soaring was 75 min wait and i went on a day Epcot was not suppose to be that busy. So, hoping to hear too. I hear the first week of Mar is also good as most school are out towards the middle!

We have been twice during the last week in Feb/first week of March and that was a good time to go. The crowds during President's week were wild, but the next week was very nice. Walk ons for most stuff.... we were spoiled. I would recommend this time... basically this week, but next year. We are going March Break this year because of schooling stuff and I know it will be more crowded, which is tough when you have been spoiled! Deb

Thanks sooo much, so I guess my plans can go back to the end of Feb. Being hit with Pres. week crowds were pretty disappointing when we went. Good luck with your March break trip. Just have a good time doing what you can do

How ironic...when we went on our first trip in Feb 05 my older daughter was sick for half of our trip. Too bad for your little one though. I think I'm going to aim for the end of Feb first week of March for our 08 trip. Rates aren't that much higher and I think it'll be worth it too. As we usually only take one big trip a year my husband really wants weather that he can enjoy the pools with our dd's, as he is not much of a ride person. I'll just cross my fingers when I do book that I've made the right decision.

wow, it is ironic, my hubby too doesn't like rides and such, and would much rather be able to enjoy the water park. I think if i can convince him to go next year, i would go 1st week of march and hope the weather will be good for him!

Last year, the first week in March was the best.We went the first week in February this year and it was much more crowded. The weather wasn't good either.Much better to go the beginning of March.

Folks have cover the beginning of March. What about the end of March? Easter week. We will bw there March 20-29 2008.
