Hello all you wonderful people.

Apologies for the question that has probably been asked a Million times - and I know I could probably filter to find the answer and not be lazy; but it's Monday and I'm tired lol :crazy2:

With My ADRs I wanted a Dinner Booking at BOG for our last night - but could only manage to get a Lunch booking .

Now I do have a BOG booking earlier in the trip but it's not at a really great time (4.05pm) and kinda messes up my plans for that day.

Now my DH and I have only been for Dinner before but it's my In-law first trip in 20 years and thought they'd enjoy the experience.

So wanted to know is Lunch really that different from dinner (I know it's a QS rather than a table service) I more concerned about the Atmosphere and the Beast set up.

The menu for lunch looks good; although if Lunch is not as good an experience as Dinner, I might try to rearrange the other day (which I'm against, as from the top of the post you all know how lazy I am :rotfl:)

The Beast is only scheduled to appear during dinner service.

I enjoy both. For lunch it's a little more chaotic because usually you are allowed to pick your own seat and if going during a busy hour that can be difficult. I thought the food was good at both. For lunch it won't take as long and you won't get to meet the beast. You'll also not have a waiter. I think I might like lunch better than dinner. I wouldn't rearrange your day to fit in a really early dinner there. Keep checking for cancellations they do happen and if not stick with the lunch it'll still be nice for them to see the inside of the castle.

No Beast well that's not good :guilty:

Thanks yes I'll keep checking to see if I can get Dinner on my last night.

If not I'll just have to re-arrange the other day and suffer an early dinner as it'll be worth it to get a beast hug - and at least at dinner I can have a glass of wine to gloss over eating so early lol

It's a wonderful experience even without the Beast, I think your in-laws would probably enjoy the ambiance, the west wing, heck even the bridge is cool! Just don't tell them you can meet the Beast at dinner and they'll never know!! :thumbsup2

IMHO the food is better at lunch.

That's interesting, we only done lunch (twice) and won't be going back. I feel like the general consensus around here is that BOG dinner is better for food quality but I'm not likely to ever find out. Glad you enjoyed the lunch though.:)

We have been having lunch there since they opened and it's been consistently good!
I love the carved turkey sandwich.
We are going back this year.
With pre-order it's not hectic to me. You sit down & they bring your food to you fairly quickly.

We have had lunch 5 times and only one time it was chaotic and messy, the food has been very good at lunch. We have had dinner once and enjoyed this as well but lunch is our favorite.

I agree that the food (and price) is better at lunch but if Beast is a deal breaker then dinner is your only option!

That said, BOG is gorgeous and if it's between BOG lunch and no BOG, I'd do lunch there.
