Question... Tell me about holding account for points, please.

I have a confrimed ressie for 8/7 through 8/12 for a 2 bedroom at HH that we are now not going to use. Can anyone tell me the procedure and timeline for placing these points (use year is February) into a holding account? I would also like to know how I would go about using the points after they are placed in holding...any help would be GREATLY appreciated, THANKS!

Anytime you cancel a reservation 30 days or less prior to arrival, the points automatically go into the holding account. You don't have to do anything (except cancel the reservation).

Since you have a February use year, the points in your holding account will expire on 1/31/2006 if thy are not used before then.

You may use the holding points to make a reservation 60 days or less before arrival.

Sorry you had to cancel your vacation.

CarolMN....First off..."No apology necessary!" I can certainly relate to the eye "issues" The only reason I can see it is because my husband has this 21 inch monitor !!!
