Is there room for 3 people to sit in one section of the car?
DH , DS (16) & me . I would just hate for one of us to have sit alone.

I have been lurking around the dis board for a month now. Ever since I found out we're goin to DISNEY!!! POR. Thank you so much for all the helpful information. DH thinks I am crazy, and says I am addicted to the DIS boards.

I know they have a couple of seating options, but the 'car' we were in, you were only able to have two in each seating-row.

The cars only seat 2 people in each seat, but there is at least one car with a table and chairs (for disabled access) instead of the forward facing benches. You don't face the screen, but instead face to the sides of the theater. There are also picnic tables in the back that seat 4, but have no seat backs. You could request either of these types of tables when checking in.

Thank you. Now, I am second guessing my ressie. I did see a picture on another site that showed a table with the car on the end of it, that might be ok. But, I am sure those are limited.

You won't be sitting alone. The "seats" are close together, and are condusive to "turning around" to talk. Our DS11 and I sat behind my wife and our DD5 last summer, and had the time of our lives. We all felt that we were "together." If you haven't tried the Sci Fi yet, don't change your reservations. You'll love it.
