in 28 days i'll be leaving for disney. (woo :woohoo:)
and my mom and i have been talking about what rides i want to ride. i really wanted to ride the rock-n-roller coaster. but i've read a little bit about it and i'm not 100% positive about riding it anymore. i'm not really into the whole loops and corkscrews stuff, so if any of you guys have riden it will you please tell me how bad it is?
and the other one i want to ride is tower of terror. my friend went during spring break and rode it and he said that it was his favorite ride there. i'm not as much as a thrill seeker as he is though, so i'm not sure if i'd like it. again...will you please give me a little insight on this too?
thanks so much

I had never went on a rollercoaster that had loops on it before RNRC.
I was pretty much scared out of my mind.
Once I got on it the loops go so fast you don't even notice, and it was super fun.

As for TOT, it isn't bad. I loved it. I like when it goes down and you like float up really fast. It's fun.

I was afraid of both, but ended up loving them.

RNRC: The worst part is the lift-off, IMHO. That's really intense. My friend said you don't even notice you're going upside down. That's a lie. If you do look at the track that's lit-up you can tell when you're going upside down. You only go upside down for like 5 seconds. The ride is pretty fast, so it doesn't last that long. It's not like the type of ride that holds you there upside down. Oh, and don't ever eat before going on RNRC. Since the lift-off is pretty bad you might get sick. Just a warning.

Tower of Terror: Tower of Terror isn't really that bad. It has seat belts and tons of bars to hold onto. It's fun.

The worst part is the lift off for RnR, that's the only hard part honestly. The actual ride has no drops, just smooth gradual declines. The loops and corkscrews are a piece of cake. They don't make your stomach feel weird at all. You do notice you're going on them because the bars press on your shoulders. Over all I really really liked the ride. The atmosphere makes you a little nervous if it's your first time but it's actually pretty easy.

ToT is also an easy ride. It doesn't really bother your stomach. You get to float and it's the most fun you will ever experience in 5 minutes or however long the ride is. My friend and I rode it 15 times in a row. Took us all day but that's how much fun it is. Be sure not to miss that ride.

It's really smooth, and you don't know that you are going upsidedown

ToT is pretty easy, but your stomach jumps

YOU MUST RIDE ALL THE MOUNTAINS AT THE MK!

15? Wow. haha. I've only been on it twice in a row. How'd you manage to do that?

Oh, and reccomend fastpasses for TOT and RNRC, too.

I almost went on RNRC once before but I was scared away at the last second by the screaching in the beginning, but that was also when I was like 10. I still haven't been on it but hopefully I will in like a week. I am guessing since I went on Kingda Ka I could pretty much handle any rollercoaster.

ToT I have been on it twice and it scares me. The ride doesn't it is just the enviroment.

Hey there! Firstly, I hope you have a great trip to WDW.

Also, the worst part of RNRC is the inital launch. I can honestly say I don't have realise when I go upside down on that ride. However, I'm a coaster junkie and don't really realise anymore.

The worst feeling you could have is not doing the rides and then on the way home saying "I wish I did that.."

Whats the worst it could do? Have a gooden!

My six-year-old neighbor's favorite ride is rockin roller coster! I love it too! She wasn't tall enough last year but then her fav. was TOT. Yet my 10 yr old sis wont go NEAR any of those rides!

ok...so i've been thinking and there is one more ride i'd like to ask about...test track...is it like a roller coaster and how bad is it? i know that i keep asking about thrill rides, but my family usually only rides rides like 'its a small world' (i'm not saying anything is bad about them...) but this year we're taking my mom's friend, and she's willing to ride them with me...if i say yes.

Not a roller coaster at all.
You sit in a car and you ride around, there is fast parts with sudden stops for the "brake test" You go in a heat room, cold room, and mist room to test the elements, you go on a bumpy road and curvy road, then you speed up to 66 MPH I think on a track that goes in a circle outside. It's VERY fun and not really a thrill ride. Family ride for sure.

Test Track is not bad. They say it's the fastest ride at WDW and I think that's a lie. It doesn't even go that fast.

Let me just tell you that both my Dad and my brother never rode on a roller coaster in their lives and were scared as hell to before riding Rockin'RollerCoaster. Then we convinced them to but they were still a bit scared. After they got off the ride their reaction was "WE ARE GOING GET FASTPASSES AGAIN AND RIDING ALL DAY LONG!" Now they both ride evey coaster at Disney and are in love! Hopefully the same will happen with you.

The darkness helps a lot of people I hear. You cannot see the track or anything just the black-lit road signs and stuff. It is really awesome. And it is inside, which is another factor that make people less scared about it. Ride it! Trust me, you will come of a COASTER LOVER!

As for Test Track, it is not really a coaster, it jsut goes fast a some parts. It is not bad at all. You can handle it I am pretty sure. Now Everest is like AMAZING but I would not reccomend riding it until you are used to the whole coaster thing. Splash Mountain is jsut one drop, but a wet one. It is not bad, and it is my Dad's fav. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is sort of a kid coaster. It is not too intense so you may want to try it first if at all possible. Space Mountain is quite intense. It is a bit rough but in complete darkness most of the time. And although the speed is like 30-40 mph (I think) it feels faster. Just do not put your hands up, it is a bit scary. But a really great ride. Tower of Terror is great. It is different everytime. But if you are afraid or get queasy around elevators then you better steer away from it. I love it and so do the rest of my family. My brother was scared to ride it for years. He is now 17 and just got the guts to ride it after our 4 year old cousin rode it 2 times and LOVED it. He felt like a wuss after that so he rode it and was like "Well that was awesome!" So there are some reviews and help. Hope it can help you and I hope you have a great time on your trip! XD

Rock n' Roller coaster was my first roller coaster with loops. You barely feel them! It's a lot of fun I suggest you give it a try.
Not Tower of Terror is my favorite ride. It hasn't always been that way. I'm afriad of elevators...so I would always take a pass on going on it. But two years ago I finally did, and now I can't get enough of it!

Just remember they are only rides...and they will be over soon if you don't like it.

Have a great trip!

the rockin roller coaster doesnt seem that long wen u r on it.

I'm so scared! I have to decide soon.

I have never been on an upside down roller coaster in my life and I really want to go on one. Should I go on Rock and Roller Coaster? Is the lift off really that bad? I don't get too freaked out by coasters. I've been on all of the mountains (Big Thunder is my favorite because it was my first roller coaster). I have also been on Test Track. That isn't bad at all but I think it is over hyped. What do you think? Would I get scared on Rock and Roller Coaster?

Help!

Please!

Rockin Rollercoaster is not bad at all. This is coming from a girl who absolutely HATES rollercoasters, and I was literally drug on by my family. I was shaking in line waiting to get on it. I wanted to run once I got up there to get in. My best friend was right next to me, and she said it was gonna be okay. When the ride went, it was absolutely amazing! I had so much fun on that ride, and the loops were not that bad at all, actually that was my favorite part of the ride. RnR is now one of my favorite rides, well besides Soarin.
