Just now listening to the Universal podcast regarding HHN - so good! I have laughed out loud so many times already and I'm only halfway through it!
The descriptions of the houses are so great - I spent way too much time last night when I should have been sleeping watching all the walkthroughs on YouTube. I know you miss out on so much, but my odds of getting to attend any time soon are slim-to-none, so the walkthroughs are the next best thing! I have a question, though.... I cannot find any walkthroughs of Ghost Town! The only videos I can find are the promotion videos. Is there a particular reason that there are no video walkthroughs of Ghost Town? I was just wondering if they MAKE you put your video cameras away during this particular walkthrough. I'm assuming they probably don't really want you filming anyhow, but in several videos on YouTube you can see employees helping to direct traffic and they clearly see the cameras, but don't do/say anything. So I was just wondering if maybe Ghost Town is a maze that they are just really enforcing a no taping policy.
Thanks for all your hard work, guys!! You rock! :)

Only HHN in Hollywood lets people film or take photos in the houses during the event. Ghost Town is only in Orlando.

The Unmasking the Horror tour allows people to take 'lights on' photos of the houses that are offered - however, after the first weekend this year, they stopped letting people take photos of the IP houses - leaving Ghost Town as the only one that you are allowed to take pictures of (the tour doesn't go to Chance's house or Tomb of the Ancients).

The Trackers did a tour early in the event and have a lot of lights on photos in one of their videos.

Thank you for your reply! So is it safe to assume then that if they say Orlando in the descriptions it is really Hollywood's? There are quite a few on YouTube that designate Orlando. I'm just genuinely curious...

I think Orlando let some of the bloggers record some walk throughs. It would be up to Universal which houses they would let them record in.

Sorry for the late response. Media was allowed to film in houses on opening night, but could only release two online. We at The DIS asked which houses people wanted to see and the top 2 were Krampus and Lunatics Playground so that's what we released. I think a lot of other sites chose to release American Horror Story and The Exorcist since those two are extremely popular.

Just wanted to throw a comment. I really appreciate the posting of the videos especially the ones with Ryno and Oliver out in California. It gave me a good chuckle on a not so great weekend. Also Man those houses out in Hollywood are intense especially the scareactors. Just an amazing job on capturing it.

Thank you!! That explains a lot and I really appreciate it! Love ALL DIS Unplugged podcasts, thank you for all the work you do!
