I was just confirmed for the maui schooner for may 2005.
does anyone know anything about this resort. Their website is a little disappointing. What do i do if i don't want the maui schooner?

Assuming you traded DVC points, they are gone. You could cancel and lose your $75 fee and have a year from cancellation to travel to an alternate exchange for a new fee. The Schooner would not be my first choice, but it is not a bad one. Best to make do with what you've got if it otherwise fits your needs. Next time check out the resort choices ahead of time as I've harped on repeatedly.

smmast,

how long did it take from when you were put on the search list to when they called and told you that there was a room available?

The Schooner is not that difficult to get. I think it's either Trading Places or Platinum Interchange that has a lot of inventory there (independent exchange companies). Just like San Francisco Exchange gets a lot of Embassy deposits. TP also gets One Napili Way at times.
