Question regarding hotel!

I have the Disnye Vacation Club....not that I think that matters for this...but anyway... my fiance does all the booking. Well for the night before the we got a one-bedroom and a studio (for him) we aren't staying there the night of the wedding. So he brought to my attention, that checkout is 11....will they give a late checkout? Our ceremony isn't until 2:30

Let me know if you experienced this...even if it was in any of Disney's resorts!

No late checkouts at DVC, if you want to stay later book another night.

I think there is another thread about late checkouts going on DVC boards.
It tends to get members fired up, as I think one time or another some of us have waited till 5-6pm to get our room because someone stayed late. It takes longer to clean a DVC villa than a regular hotel room.

I have heard on here that they do not allow late check outs...especialy with DVC I have seen on the DVC boards that somebody had checked out late and they charged them more points for that.

Is there anyway your DF can stay with his family or crash with the BM and GM the night before and get ready with them in the morning?

we had a room for the night before the wedding on DVC...no late check out. It sucked, having to pack all my stuff AS I was getting ready for my wedding! I would NOT recommend that to anyone

I know a lot of DVC'ers will book the extra night when they have a late flight, (it helps if you have kids who need to nap, don't want to sit around the lobby waiting for DME, don't want to change from their bathing suits in the bathroom by the pool etc). Then just leave the room whenever they want, without the rush.

I had a knock on my door at SSR on our Thanksgiving trip by mousekeeping wanting to know when I was leaving(this was at 8:30 am).

Vero Beach is nicer, they call you with a pre-recorded message, please buzz housekeeping right before you leave, letting them know you are vacating the villa.

That was the trip that they had to change my room because the one assigned wasn't clean at 6pm(either late checker outer or someone trashed the room).
