Question regarding Hogwarts

Here's a question that I could not find an answer to. I am heading to Universal next week staying at the Royal Pacific. I had already bought four day single park passes. We are only going to be staying at the parks for three days, but for an extra $40, I figured it would be worth it that last day to be allowed to hit both parks without paying the park to park prices for four people.

So my question is on that third day, lets say we start at Universal Studios, would they later accept a day pass to Islands of Adventure at Hogwarts Express?

Not sure if I am explaining this well enough, but we don't have park to park passes. We have four single park days. We are only staying three days and would like to use that extra park pass to enter Islands of Adventure through Hogwarts.

Think it can be done?

Thanks

So you have a 4 day, one park pass? Or do you have 4 separate one day passes?

I know that they won't let you use one day of your 4 day pass to get into IOA on the HE. I'm not sure what the case would be if you had a separate one day ticket that you offered to get you in.

I'm pretty sure you need to have a park to park pass.

Yes they are four one park per day passes. Ok that was my question. So no Hogwarts Express. Thanks

Yes, but be sure to mark the passes so you know which you used to enter Islands and which you used to enter the other park. You will still not be able to ride Hogwarts express though, because that requires a park to park pass. (You can go through the cue I THINK, which is worth it on the London side to "walk through the wall" like Harry.

Have fun - I'm totally jealous.

Strong suggestion: if you want to do the interactive wand experiences, get the wand one day, and then on your early park admission to Hogsmeade, cast your spells then......same at Diagon Alley - do the spells first thing before the areas get too crowded

You will need a park to park pass to ride the train. You may be able to give up one of your one day tickets to ride the train, but you will need to speak with universal. There is a ticket booth near the train if you want to pay the difference or just ask someone.
