Question regarding DVC points at DL?

I know we can use our points at the Disneyland hotels. I believe you get a basic hotel room. My question is -- are there any suite style rooms available for points?
Haven't made a trip out to California in years and my Uncle is swaying us to go!

Thanks!

Tanya...based on the member's site information, it appears that it is for regular rooms only at the Grand Californian Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel or the Paradise Pier Hotel. There are a variety of view options (standard and premium) with different point totals.

And I do see that they offer Concierge at each of the hotels. Not a suite but it does upgrade the stay!

Hope that helps. Someone else more familiar with DL can probably provide more information. :)

IIRC, there are suites available for points even though suites are not listed on the point charts for DL. Call MS to get the number required.

FWIW, there are several categories of rooms at the DL resorts that are available for points - the standard (basic) is not the only thing available to DVC members.

Check it out for yourself:

Best wishes -

If you are going to DL I recommend Disney's Grand Californian. It is a beautiful resort and you cannot beat the location with its personal entrance to California Adventure Park. I can only imagine how nice is would look decorated for the Holidays. And if the weather is cold, it has a walk thru fireplace to warm you up.

We just got back from DLR on points. We got two standard view connecting rooms in the far tower. We loved the location and it was a short, lovely walk thru DTD to both parks.

Each room at DLR has a small refrigerator. We will do the same thing again in a couple of years, and we are two bedroom lovers.
