Question regarding discount tickets/dining plan

Ok, I haven't posted much, but I've learned a lot from this Board. Thanks to all the Veterans!! But, I haven't found anything regarding my question, and I may have just missed it. If I buy tickets from a discount broker (from Mousesavers) can I still add the dining plan - or do I have to buy the package from Disney??

The dining plan can only be purchased with a package (room, tickets, dining plan). You can purchase the package through Disney directly, AAA (and get a room discount WITH the dining plan), or any other travel agent. Good luck!!

I was going to buy my tickets thru Mousesavers. I want to add Dining on too and then I found out I would have to purchase a one day base ticket which is $65 dollars. If I bought a 6 day base ticket with my package, I'll be saving myself $63 dollars, because I won't have to buy just that one ticket.

Now I am just waiting and waiting for the packages to open up for 2007.

Sorry you aren't able to buy the discounted tickets and add dining. Dining is added to your room key, but you have to at least buy a one day ticket to get dining added to your room, hence making it a vacation package. The only exception is for DVC owners/renters. They can add the dining option without having to buy tickets. Not sure but may be the same is true for AP holders-- at least it would make sense, since the AP people always have tickets paid for. Anybody know if this can be done for AP holders???
