We have an upcoming trip booked at BWV in August. Our friends have their trip the same dates but they are staying at BCV. We have 2 people in our studio and they have 3 in theirs. Is there any way that our kids can swim at the same pool? While we do have space to add others to the room since booked on points, we can't add each other to the room since we can't be linked to more than one reservation for the same nights.

In the past when staying at AKV and OKW, we were permitted to have local family come for a day to swim we just went to the registration desk to add them as a day guest. I know BCVs are more strict on usage so i suspect they don't permit day guests. I'm not trying to bend any rules but curious if this is permitted somehow. I'm not familiar with the policies at BWV since this is our first stay here. We don't mind which of the pools, it would just be more fun for them to swim with their friend.

Thanks for sharing your insight!

Create aliases in MDE for your friend. For instance Rebecca Ann Jones becomes Becky Jones in your MDE. Your friend would do the same for you (if staying on points).

You then add Becky and the rest of her family's aliases to your reservation and link the names. Becky's family is now officially registered guests of BWV even though they may never spend a single night there.

Rebecca returns the favor by adding your family's aliases to her reservation. You're now a registered guest of BCV under your aliases.

As long as neither one of you exceeds the occupancy limit of the room you're in, there's no problem.

Thanks I wasn’t sure how that would work. Would we get a room key to show at the pool or order extra magic bands?

One more thing: your aliases will not have magic bands unless you want to pay for them. Key cards for everyone can be obtained from the front desk for the purpose of using SAB.

Marionnette is correct, but realize that you'll have to get room keys for them. Their bands won't work at your resort.

Studio occupancy is typically 4, so it's unlikely that they could add all the kids to their reservation at BCV since they already have three people in the room.

We each have one child so that would be okay and I can just add one adult and one child to BWV if need be. Not sure they’d want my child without me for too long 😂

Actually I think both BCV and BWV have the Murphy beds so we may be able to have all five on both 👀🤷‍♀️

The following WDW DVC Resorts allow 5 in a studio (plus a child under 3 in a crib) because they have the pull down Murphy bed from a cabinet: BWV, BRV, BCV, VGF, Poly, and Riviera (except for Tower Studios). The other WDW DVC Resorts, SSR, CCV, OKW, and AKV. allow only 4 (plus a child under three)
