Question re "resort value" based on points

Not sure if answered before in the deep misty past of this board - but DW and I were thinking based on DVC selling BCV (or other resorts) for $XX per point and there are $YY points how much is the "value" of the resort(s)?

So let's say at BWV (for example) there were 4,200,000 points and the average DVC sale was $72 over the life before sell out - that would make the resort worth north of $280 Million

Anyways, does anyone have any ideas how many "points" the whole of BCV is "worth"?

I guess if I had the room count(s), I could figure it out as well...???

Would I be missing anything?

When I bought in (in 1992 at $52/pt.), I owned 1/1000 of building 14 at OKW. I paid $12,000, which means that just that building alone was sold at 12 million dollars. If there are 64 buildings that means OKW was sold for something in excess of $768 million dollars!

There was an interesting thread on this a while back. One the DISers was in construction and could comment on site development costs, construction and upfit of the resorts. Others had a pretty good handle on the number of points issued. As I remember it was a good deal for Disney and a good deal for us.
