Question Re: Renting Points and DDP

I think I've read here that if you are renting points from someone you can purchase the DDP. Can someone tell me how this is done? Who adds the dining plan to the reservation? When is it paid for?

The owner you are renting from will need to add the dining plan for you sometime ahead of your arrival. You will pay for it when you check in.
