Question re: rental car from the Port to WDW

My buddy's family is planning to visit WDW for several days following his cruise, and they plan to rent a car to get them from the port to WDW. I understant that there is an Alamo and National car rental at the Orlando Disney Car Care, but these two car rentals do not seem to be located near the Port.

Can anyone recommend which car rental is the most convenient to choose to get from the Port to WDW?

Alamo does not have a port-area location, but National does. However they don't have a courtesy shuttle from that location. You'd need to take a taxi.
