We arrive on Saturday. We don't check in for our MYW pkg (with dining) until Monday...

Q: Will we be able to get our tickets for parks when we arrive, or will we have to wait unti our MYW pkg begins at the resort???

HELP!!!!

Call Disney and see when you can pick up your Tix.

You can find out from them if they will make the Tix "Willcall" so you can go to ANY theme-park (or DTD) Guest Relations window and pick them up any time.

:rotfl: Does Disney own Las Vegas, too???:rotfl:

I know you're joking, but
IMHO, except for the Monorail, Vegas is a about as "UN-Disney" as it gets.

The answer is maybe. It depends on three things. First, you must be staying at the same resort for both reservations (a continuing stay instead of staying at two separate resorts). Second, the Lobby Concierge CM at your resort (and probably his duty manager as well) has to know how to do the transaction. It's not one that is often done and many will not know how to do it. And lastly, it can only be done three days or less prior to the start of the package reservation. It can be done if all three of the above criteria are met.

I called Disney twice with this question Friday late afternoon being the last time and I was told NO twice. They said I couldn't do it. so I changed my package to just one day and will keep it for the future and buy tickets from ticketmania for this trip.

Others have reported being able to do this but it really isn't common practice (or even Disney policy.) We had the same dilemma last year and just ended up enjoying DTD and a MVMCP night the night beofre we checked in. We checked into our resort (Poly) early on check-in day and were immediately given our tickets. Our room wasn't ready until later but that was fine as we were out enjoying the park! We just had to call the front desk around 3pm to find out our room number.

I would recommend just trying to find something else to do on your Sunday.

We will meet all the above criteria. You recommend going to the resort at which we are staying to complete the transaction?

IF we can't get the tix, no biggie, we'll just waste time in DTD or elsewhere (as suggested)!

Thanks for your help.

Yes, absolutely.

And despite what people have been told on the phone, it is possible to do. If you don't believe me, would you believe Tyler (Chip 'N Dale Express)? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1075099&page=3

I read this thread you recommmended. Thanks.

Again, the worst thing that can happen is they say "NO" and we don't get our tix until Monday. I WILL try, though.

I am even planning to print out what ChipNDaleExpress wrote so I can take it w/me to the Contemporary... Any idea which resort he works in?????
