Hi everyone!
I'm relatively new to photography (well, GOOD photography anyway) and I'm trying to read up on as much as I can so that I can get more professional shots. So far, I'm doing pretty good but one of the things I really want is a new lens.
My camera is a Canon S2 IS, which I bought in 2006. A lot of people have recommended getting a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens for it but I'm not sure if I need a lens adapter or not?
This is my first digital camera...my old Canon used film and the whole lens comes right off so you can just put on whatever lens you want. On my S2, the lens ring comes off, but the lens itself doesn't. I'm assuming that an adapter is needed, and although the adapter is relatively low priced, I'd rather not spend money that I don't need to (so I can save up for the lens!)
TIA!
