Question re Free Dining Bounceback Offer

So, I've never done the dining plan, free or paid, because I usually travel solo and I have just never thought it would be worth it. However, I have a stay coming up soon at POP and am considering booking a free dining bounceback offer for next fall. It would be me, my daughter, her husband and their 1 year old, my son and his wife.
If I book all of us into a Family Suite at All Star Music or AOA, would we be able to upgrade just 2 of the adults to the DxDP at check in, or do we all have to stay on the same plan?
Anyone know if there is an extra adult charge in the family suites? I'm thinking not, but I'm not 100% sure about this. And FYI, my son and his wife would actually be staying at the Hilton on points!

Everyone in the room has to be on the same dining plan.

Since two of the adults aren't planning on staying anyway, why not just get two rooms at All Stars or some other value. One for you and one for the family of 3. You could then upgrade the two adults to DxDDP and share all the credits among the 5 of you.

I would book 2 rooms instead of a suite.
One room could upgrade to deluxe and share the credits wiht the couple staying offsite.

Thanks, that's probably what I will do. I think 2 rooms at a value are cheaper than a family suite anyway!

Plus everyone would get an actual bed not a "sleeper chair".
