Question re ddp snacks

So if I wanted to stop at a ts restaurant for a dessert they have there, could I use that as my snack for the day?

If you'd like to use a snack credit as dessert, you could get a pastry at a bakery, like School Bread in Norway, get a Dole Whip, or go to one of the ice cream parlors in the parks

You can not use a snack credit for a pastry at the bakery in France however. The only snack allowed there is a med soda.

Ah, I was thinking about Main St Bakery, Fountainview in Epcot, Starring Rolls in MGM...good to know about the Boulangerie. Isn't there a bakery in Italy? Do they accept the DDP?

Take a look at the sticky at the top of the Disney Dinning Plan board. It lists everything that can be used for a snack. Someone just let me know this and I am so excited to have this information!

Do what? Buy a Dole Whip? Nobody better try to stop me! I assume you mean go to Sci Fi for dessert only Yes, you can. I made an ADR for 10:10 pm (after Fantasmic, on a night that MGM has EMH in the evening), and the CM noted that it was for dessert only and we are paying OOP, not using a DDP credit.

I know at POP food court you can get a hot fudge sundae as a snack

I think the snack value is always under $4. Some of what I used it for: BOX of Entennmans donuts in food court, fresh fruit bowl (loved that for breakfast), great ice cream sundae in Blizzard Beach, some kind of tropical whip in MK, Giant pretzel......tons of items you can use it for everywhere. If the snack I wanted was a couple dollars I didn't waste a credit and paid cash.

Yes, I did mean buy dessert only, in a Restaurant. Great idea.

My plan too Snax costing $2 I'll pay OOP and save my sc for the $4 items!! I know I want to try the Twinkie Tiramasu at Pop and Breadsticks at AK but I'm sure I'll try a lot of different ones !! I plan on getting the box of donuts too ,that is such a good deal. Breakfast for 5 for 1 sc!!
