OK, please please do not flame me for this question, but I have to ask.......

If we plan a day at MK when it is not an EMH morning and decide to go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast when it first opens, and if we utilize the valet parking at BLT to do so, are we allowed to go to MK right from breakfast and just leave the car in the valet lot at BLT, and pick it up in the afternoon? I would never ask this about self-parking, but I am curious if this is allowed with valet parking.

Is the valet parking available that early in the morning? Chef Mickey's begins serving breakfast (I believe) at 7AM.

Ask the valet when you park there. If the answer is no, then you can just move the car after breakfast.

I suspect the answer will depend on how busy / how full the valet expects their lots will be that day.

The official answer is that the resorts cannot provide parking for park access. I have read some reports that say the CR will "cut you some slack" for valet parking, but are very strict about using the self park lots.

technically when you are valet, if you are an offsite resort guest they issue a 3 hr parking pass. I'm not sure how it works when onsite.

If you are not staying at BLT, DVC asks that members not use valet parking at the resorts to visit the theme parks. You'll see that comment where you see the comments about free valet parking for members in the Disney Files or on the website.

You could park at the TTC, take the resort monorail to the CR and have breakfast.

I think that is what we will do. Does the resort monorail run that early in the morning if we have a 7AM ADR for breakfast? This would probably be the easiest thing to do since we could then take the monorail right to MK or just walk there (most likely what we will do).

Yes, because the resort guests should be moving around at that time as well.

Just make sure you have an ADR for Chef Mickey's. They may ask you for the number at the guardshack, plus it is next to impossible to do Chef Mickey's as a walk-in.
