Question- package- last min cancel??

Question - we are going 2/19-2/26 - booked the package though Disney for room and tckets. With all the cases spiking like crazy I am wondering does anyone know what happens if you have to cancel last minute due to a positive test?? That would be the only reason we would cancel, but I’m scared I’m going to lose all our money if it happened. Can we just rebook and apply it to another trip? Should I get the insurance that is offered on the Disney site for packages? Thanks!

I believe it really depends on the timing. I wouldn't hesitate to either call your TA or WDW guest services and ask them what the current cancellation policy is. It can change but I'd still call them.

You can move it to a future trip without issue. There may be a $50 fee if the cost goes down, they almost always waive this if the cost is more.

If you want to cancel, you could call to explain and ask for them to waive the fees.
