Question on Tiffany's vs Sunray

Anybody recently use Tiffany's Towncar Svc or Sunray Transportation? My TA also mentioned VIP Transportation...anyone heard of them? I've done numerous searches for these companies and frankly they all sound fine. Last time we used the Mears coach to Seaworld which worked just fine but we're thinking of using something more direct as Mears went from resort to resort to resort. Which is ok but this time we have 3 young kids coming w/us and I just not sure how they would do.

I guess some personal experiences would be helpful. I did do a search and read those...didn't know if anyone had any recent experiences? Thanks in advance.

I used Tiffany Transportation nearly 4 years ago. Had a bad experience (driver didn't help at all with luggage, nearly got in an accident on way to resort, bad body odor) with them and never went back. On the recommendation of a friend, I tried Sunray Transportation for our next trip the following year. I have been using them at least once a year ever since. They are always waiting for us, even if our flight is early or late (we've been both), they handle all of the luggage and offer a free grocery stop. I realize that it is an extra that I pay for, but I like the personal service that I receive from them. Just used them the first week in March and look forward to seeing either Roger or Bob in September. We have always been picked up in sparkling clean Excursion. Plenty of room for our group, but the do also cater to larger parties.

We used Sunray on our last trip and we thought they were great. I just booked them again for DH for our upcoming trip.

Thank you for the replies. I e-mailed Sunray Transportation and they replied in about 1 hour... I thought that was pretty quick. E-mailed the same question to Tiffany's and I still haven't heard back yet. Thanks again.

Tiffany's customer service (from my experience) is terrible. Very rude.

The driver we had last year was nice and professional. Only thing I didn't like (or understand) was he wasn't holding a sign with our name on it so we walked around for 15 minutes trying to figure out who our driver was.

If you write them back and ask for The Mouse for Less discount, you'll get $8 off your round trip price for Sunray.

One thing that's nice about them is you get 1/2 hour grocery stop. We didn't know if that would be enough time, but we were pretty much in and out of the store in 15 minutes.

Here's another for Sunray. I used Tiffany a couple years ago, and it was so-so. Once again, not much help with luggage etc. This year I tried Sunray and Bob was excellent. Sign waiting for me, help with my luggage, very professional and yet very personable. I had an out of the ordinary pick up in the middle of my trip, and even though its not something they usually do, they accommodated me beautifully.

I will use Sunray again, no questions asked.

I did book Sunray for our trip to SW today. Bob was very nice and quick to reply to my "several" emails. Poor guy!!! Still haven't heard back from Tiffany's!

Guess I have to be the dissenting voice again. We've used Tiffany twice, and have them booked for #3. Never had a problem, always polite, conversational and treated us with utmost respect. Last trip we were delayed in Boston by 4 hours and just called. They were great and said no problem they would be there. Our driver was even done his workday and STILL came for us.

Just another opinion.

We just used Sunray last week. I cannot say enough good things about them. We lost our luggage so we asked them to wait an extra 2 hours to pick us up. They did and on our way to the port the driver let us stop at walmart for 40 minutes and buy a new wardrobe for all 9 people. The driver was awesome and there at 8 the next week to pick us up from the cruise. Sunray is the BEST!!!

That's good to hear because I just booked Sunray for my trip in July and I'm very happy with price. It sounds like they really took good care of you. I hope you were able to get your luggage back.
