Hi everyone! I know someone on here will be much more knowledgeable than I am on thus...
Currently I have a package booked that has 10 day park tickets for all 6 of us this October. In order to make online payments it’s just easier to have a package, verses booking just a campsite and buying tickets separately.
My question: there may be one or two in our group who have no interest in going to the parks more than 1 or 2 days total. Is it possible to do this- with people in our package having tickets for a different number of days? And if so- how would I accomplish that?
Thanks everyone!

I think i bought seprate tickets, because someone was meeting us down there. So ( it was a while ago) i booked the main package and just 2 tickets, then bought tickets in the other persons name. I do have more people on the reservation then i have tickets. They dont make it easy to navagate some things. Another option would be to call them. They should be able to book what you want.

Usually everyone on the same package has to have the same number of tickets. You could book with the least number of tickets needed and then when you get there, upgrade your ticket to a longer one. But then you can't make your park reservations until you upgrade to the longer ticket. That might be a problem in October if it's busy and there are no reservations left.

My parents have a campsite reservation for their RV next month and I am flying down to stay with them for a week with my 11yo DD. They want to only do 3 park days and she and I will do 5. When I went to buy tickets from the Disney site I noticed my parents 3 day tickets had to be used within 5 days of the first park visit. I checked my 5 day tickets and we had 8 days in which to use them from the first park visit. I thought they could be used any day during the length of stay up to 14 days. Not realizing it had changed and thinking it was a glitch I called and asked about it and was told that only if we purchased them as a package would they be good for length of stay and tickets purchased outside of a package had limits. When I asked about making it a package I was told that everyone on the reservation had to have the same ticket.

It the end it didn't matter as their park days will fit into those 5 days.

The dont make it easy. I know. We sort of did the same then i think i had to change dates and pay a little more. At least its sorted now. It should be easier to do though.

Now as long as you can get park reservations, you will be golden. That is the part of the system I do not like, it takes the flexibility out of vacation, especially during high traffic periods like now.

Luckily I got the parks I wanted on the days I wanted :)

I agree , i changed parks last time. This time its not an option, so i got more tickets. They win.

I *think* you can also buy tickets from a third party and possibly link them to your account for those extra days...just for future reference.

I book our site directly from Disney but buy tickets from UT- it saves us about $200

We did that one year as well- the main disadvantage was unless you have a complete package with Disney, we couldn’t make online payments- you had to call to make a payment. And because we make LOTS of payments- and we all know how much fun it is calling Disney for anything now days- that really wasn’t fun 😜

Ah! That I have never messed with, we paid for the tickets all at once a few months before the trip, then add to our room- then paid for the room at arrival. My hubby does not like money being tied up in vacations, so it is in a vacay fund until we are ready to pull the trigger.
