Does the two counter service meals include desert and beverage?

I'm thinking I can use one snack for breakfast (bagel or muffin), but then I'd be getting a second snack and two deserts! Don't get me wrong....I'm not complaining, but it seems like a lot of sweets. Of course my DD6 will be in sweet-tooth heaven. :rotfl2:

Counter service meals include a dessert and beverage except for breakfast.

For breakfast you get two beverages because dessert isn't included with breakfast.

When ordering CS you can ask about substituting a side dish for the dessert. It may not always work, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Well, I re-read the fine print and the $76.00 day (for a value with park tix and quick dining) applies to two adults, a juniour and a child.

Since it will just be DD6 and I, I don't think this will work. I'm still mulling over the $30 and $9.00. But I rarely buy a snack, and I can usually get by with just a bagle in the mornings. My DD would love all the snacks.

I'm also of the mindset that if I have a snack credit, then I have to buy a snack in the $4.00 range. I'm too cheap to waste a snack credit on a bagel. :rotfl2:

If you are planning on eating two table service meals a day this seems like a great plan. With two ssnacks you can use one for breakfast and still have a snack for later in the day!

The quick service plan does not include any table service meals.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm planning a Mom-only trip with my DDs who will both be considered children. We don't eat a table service per day so the regular plan wouldn't be worthwhile.

The cost of an adult for the QS plan looks like a lot. BUT, Disney has done some deep discounts on the child plans. A QS meal for a child is generally $4.49 plus tax. So, they are basically getting 2 snacks each for free. So, the key for me is to see whether the savings on the children's plans offset the cost of the adult plan.

An adult meal at QS with a drink will generally run you $10 (without dessert). So I figure 2 of those, plus 2 snacks is close to the cost .... add the 2 free snacks per child and I think it does make sense. I'm not even counting the cost of the mug because I think that's a bonus - I wouldn't buy one per person. My DDs don't drink pop.

I think your breakdown makes a lot of sense. But you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that the kids pricing is much better then the adult pricing. Since you have two DD's, this plan makes a bit more sense for you then for me with just my one DD.

I normally just drink water with my meals and I never order desert. I might have a Dole Whip once during a weeklong stay as well as a cheese stuffed pretzel.
