I am a newbie to the list but I wanted to find out about some places:

Concourse Steakhouse-how is that?

The Crystal Palace-should we do Breakfast, Lunch or dinner-we will be taking a 3 year old?

Character Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern-thoughts on that?

50's Prime Time Cafe-thoughts on that?

Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant-thoughts on that?

What about shows to see where you can eat as well?

Thank you! Susan

Concourse Steakhouse- really good

The Crystal Palace-only done Breakfast, really good but try to get ADRs before park opens there lots less people

Character Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern-food ok, mac and cheese was great the rest was so so!

50's Prime Time Cafe-good food and good fun but becuse of price I would rather pay out of pocket for this one!

Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant-same as 50's

I have never been to a dinner show so I can't answer that one :{

Concourse - My DH's favorite meal last year.

Crystal Palace - We did lunch which was very good for a buffet and my DD who was 3 loved meeting the Pooh characters.

LTT dinner - My DD loved the characters and the atmospher was nice but I thought this was the most mediocre meal that we had.

We haven't tried the other restaurants yet.

I havent been but I have always heard that the Concourse Steak House is really good.

50's PTC- pretty good food, LOVE the atmosphere....really cute and makes you feel like you walked into a timewarp machine.

Sci-fi.....food is stanfard fair....nothing to write home about but this atmosphere is a must see and never forget.

As for shows I have been to the Aloha Luau show (before it changed a bit) and loved the food and the show.

Enjoy your trip!

I can only comment on Crystal Palace at lunchtime - it was pretty good buffet food, we enjoyed ourselves overall. Characters are pretty slow to make the rounds and the place gets CROWDED!

As a dinner show I would suggest Hoop Dee Do Review. It's a hoot and really something that everyone should do at least once!

:thumbsup2

Crystal Palace - either one! We have done dinner and breakfast and loved them both. Great food and interaction.

LTT Dinner - we really enjoyed this. DH and I both thought the food was great and the characters in the old-timey clothes are adorable.

Sci-Fi - great fun, mediocre food. I would not recommend this for a great meal, but for a good time and just to have the experience do it! The food is okay, but it's just standard burgers and sandwiches and shakes. We had fun, but it's not anything to do every trip based on the food.

Shows while you eat - check out the World Showcase at Epcot. Several countries have shows during your meals.

Concourse - Good for steaks (duh factor here :) ). DH loves it; I don't eat red meat so the other choices are very limited. But DH raves about it.

Crystal Palace - we've done breakfast and dinner - both were equally good but the dinner was a lot more crowded. We did the early morning before the parks opened and it was beautiful walking down main street by ourselves.

Sci-FI - go for atmosphere only. Food is ok. (onion rings and milkshakes are great). Fun place, ok food.

I have ADRs at LTT (dinner) and CP (breakfast). I have never eaten at Concourse Steak but we have eaten at Sci-Fi and 50's Primetime. We love the theming and had great fun, 50s was like Mom's homecooking and Sci Fi was an experience not be missed. We have been to both the HDDR and SOA and we prefer HDDR, corny but good clean fun and the food is good bar-b-que type. We are doing HDDR again this year.
