I read on this website that you can take a 2 hour Segway Tour at Epcot but I could not find information on cost or reservations. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

Thanks for the information but do you know if reservations are needed and where to make them? I wonder what the DVC member discount is?

Reservations can be made by calling 1-407-WDW-TOUR

I think there are only ten people per session and it only happens once a day but the date I was inquiring about was still not even close to full she said.

I just called for reservations and was offered a 15% discount for being a DV card holder, so it was $68 a person insetad of $80

This tour was one of the coolest things I have EVER done at WDW. The course is 2 hours and limited to 10 people each day. They show a safety and orientation video first and explain all about the Segway. 25 minutes later you are taken to the indoor training area and taught how to get up on them. 5 minutes later everyone in the class is going forward and back. 10 minutes after that you are turning. In our class of 9 only 1 gentleman had difficulty and even he was doing just fine after 1/2 hour of practice.

The second hour is spent out in Epcot. You are first taught how to go up and down ramps and then after a brief break it is back up and out to world showcase. You travel all around the world moving through various obstacles as you go. It is SO much fun! The only problem we had was our feet feeling as if they are falling asleep from being stationary on the platform of the Segway.

I would do it again in a heartbeat!

At $68 I believe we will try to get reservations for our Oct trip.
Thanks to all of you for replying.

There is also a AAA rate I think, or at least there was when I went in March.

It was definitely one of the most fun things I've ever done at WDW, and like previous people have stated would do it again! The training period is very easy, and the CMs are very helpful. As long as you aren't trying to be Evil Knievel (sp?) it's fairly easy and VERY fun.

Enjoy

Just to add - I know there is an age restriction on this tour -- maybe 16? I really would have liked to do this but couldn't with the kids. Definitely looked very cool!
