Question on room, ddp charges

We're renting points at BWV. The room is paid for, obviously, but we ordered DDP and need to pay for the DDP. We will also charge several gifts/souvenirs and possibly a meal to the room as well.

Will they charge our debit card for the ddp first and then any additional charges at the end of our stay? Or do they charge the whole thing at the end? Or do they just put a hold on a certain amount like they do on the cruises.

Anyone know? We are getting paid while we are there and don't want to transfer any more out of savings than we have to.

I've used the dining plan twice and both times it was charged at check-in. Any room charges during the stay was charged at the end.

You pay for the DDP when you check in. If you give them a card for room charges, they are charged daily to your card in case you skip out, with the balance at check out.

I would not recommend using a debit card though, we use a credit card in case of any problems, our bank account is not affected.

I agree with Sammie about using the credit card, just in case of problems. It's much easier to dispute. You can always have the balance removed from your CC and placed on your debit card the final day if you choose, once you have verified all the charges.

In a similar instance, we checked in first and our guests arrived late that night. I had paid for everyone's DDP at check in, but they were able to have the charge taken off my card and placed on theirs when they got there.
