Question on printing boarding pass at home

I would like to do this next Friday for out Saturday flight. However my question is how do you check your luggage? Do you just use the sky cap or go to where you would normally check in? Also do they accept boarding passes on regular paper that I would be printing my boarding passes on at home. Sorry I'm just worried now with the new regulations that boarding passes on paper won't be accepted.

We're planning to print our boarding passes at home Sunday before our Monday morning flight.
I think as long as it prints clearly, there's nothing to worry about. I'm just using regular printer paper.

I print them out at home, regular paper is just fine. Just make sure the bar code is not smeared in any way. Usually not an issue with home printers.
I use the skycap. I just hand him my print out, id and tip. They take care of the rest. You may also use the counter or self check in.

We would like to check our luggage curbside. Then what??? I have no idea what to do next. Do I show the skycab our boarding passes and then bring the same passes with us to security or do we at some point need an actual boarding pass from the airport? Also, do we need to check in at the airline podium so they know we are there?
Any help with steering me through how the the whole procedure works would be very appreciated.
Coming home we will have to get our boarding passes at the airport. Is that confusing?

I think we can walk you through this - but two questions - what airline and what airport? But, in general when you print your boarding pass, you are checking in and that is your boarding pass. Have your boarding pass and your ID ready to show the skycap, show the TSA agent at security, and then hand the boarding pass to the gate attendent when you get on the plane.

Once you check in and print your boarding pass with US Airways you are considered checked in for the flight. No need to go to the ticket counter or gate agent. You don't need a boarding pass issued by the airline if you have one you printed at one. I have printed mine on photo paper when I am on the road and never had any problems.

When you check your luggage with the skycap you then proceed to the security checkpoint with your ID and boarding pass.

You can just check-in online and not actually print a boarding pass for most airlines if you like. The skycap can print one out for you when you check your bags with them to save the time from waiting in the longer lines inside!!

Check in online 24 hours before your flight.
Print out the boarding passes.
Get to the airport.
Hand the boarding passes to the skycap along with your ID and tip.
They will take care of the bags, hand you the luggage tags nicely stapled to an airline folder with the gate# printed on it and your boarding pass that you printed at home.
You enter the airport and head for the gate.
Go through security by handing them the boarding pass you printed at home and your ID.
Do the security "thing"
Proceed to gate and wait for the plane.

On the way home.
If you are staying at a Disney resort, I know they will print the return passes for you.
If that is the case, proceed with the above instructions.
If you are not staying at a Disney resort, check with your resort. They may be able to do this for you.
If not, you can check in with the skycap. He will take care of your boarding pass and luggage. Very easy.

They will take care of the bags, hand you the luggage tags nicely stapled to an airline folder with the gate# printed on it and your boarding pass that you printed at home.

Also check your gate# that they wrote on the folder with the display of arrivals and departures at the airline counter. Ours wrote the wrong gate# and we almost didn't go to the right gate!
