Question on meal times

On our Disney trips I like to schedule our table service meals at off times so we avoid the mad rush. Well I know what typical eating times are here in the states, but what time do most people like to eat in France and/or Europe? Is the 'big' meal the mid-day or evening meal? Just trying to figure out when to schedule Walt's and Blue Lagoon.

Hi Monica,

From our experience I would say avoid lunch between 12-2 and anytime between 5pm and 9pm.

Both of the restaurants you mentioned can be pre-booked in which case you wont have a problem getting a table even during those times. I have noticed that the service is not as good during the busier times and the character interaction a lot shorter so would avoid then if you possibly can :goodvibes

I think this will vary between guests. In our case we prefer a snack/counter service lunch and linger longer over supper in the evening.

If you want to miss the rush then have an early lunch before 12 noon and similarly in the evening eat at 5/6pm :)

Thanks.

It sounds like meal times are about the same as here at home. I will prebook, but I'd rather be there when it's less busy. With my limited French, I'd rather not have a waiter/waitress who was so busy that we just get frustrated with each other. Although I do see from reading up that many CMs speak English so we shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Both Walt's and Blue Lagoon are inside the parks, so their opening hours depend on the park hours.

This is important when you're trying to plan your meals :)
