Does anybody join Interval International membership( about $135 per year for gold)? You get to trade with all properties listed and get travel specials that do not require use of points or vacation trade. I was wondering if any and all DVC members belong to Interval and if so what are your opinions on joining or not joining if against it?Also if you join do you still trade thru MS if it is a disney approved property? What type of specials do they offer?

Looking forward to your responses!!!:bounce:

DVC holds a corporate membership that entitles all DVC members to use II exchanges thru MS. We have access to an abbreviated list of II resorts and all exchanges are handled by DVC- we cannot work with II individually.

There are many DVC members who own other timeshares and are II members, but they also must use MS for any DVC/II exchange. Since DVC members are not individually II members, we don't have access to any other II perks that a "regular" II membership would enjoy.

I agree with Doc. That means no access to II directly, no Gold Membership, no Getaway purchases and the like. That'sin part why I bought other timeshares.
