Question on GF pools

Where are they? I'm looking at a copy of the resort map and I see by #21 is a Courtyard Pool. Is this where the quiet pool AND the pool with the slide are located? If not, which pool is this and where can I find the other one? Thanks!

The Courtyard Pool is the "main pool" which is quite large and nice. The new pool (with a slide & zero entry) is just south of the main building where you see the beach indent. There's a pool bar, washrooms, towel counter, tents...it's really nice. I'll post a current resort map later if no-one else does before then (have to go make supper ). Enjoy!

Janet, I've never seen that picture before! Thanks so much! At this time last year, my plane was landing in Orlando, and we were ready to head to the Grand! Ahhh, wish it was the same this year!

I've never seen that picture before either!! VERY cool! I wonder how they got that??

If I remember what I read on that website, the person shot five rolls of 35mm film during a flight over the Disney property. That was done in 2002, at a height of 2,000 feet (that's stated on the website). This can't presently be done due to the Federal Aviation Administration's anti-terrorism flight restrictions over WDW (approved by Congress in February and upheld by a Federal Judge in June). The restrictions state that planes must remain at least 3,000 feet above the park or stay at least 3.3 miles away. (The rules also cover Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.)
