Question on discounts / re-booking, etc

Hi,

I've seen the threads about the potential room only discounts that might hit Monday morning for Disney Visa cardholders. I'm trying to figure out what I can/can't do so I have a few questions:

- we currently have a reservation with AAA discount. I would obviously prefer the 30-35% discount it if comes out. The room we have booked is "unavailable" on the site if you check for a new reservation right now. So, do I just call and see if they can apply the discount to our already existing reservation? I don't want to lose the room location/type we have reserved.

- we are going with some friends who are not Disney Visa cardholders. Can I ask to have the discount applied to their room as well? They aren't staying as long as we are, but it is the same resort and same type of room.

- if we get this, can I then order tickets from a discount site (Undercover Tourist) and then link those to our reservation so they are part of our room key cards (or magic bands if they are out by then)?

1) yes, just call and ask if they can apply the discount.

2) yes, you can. You'll have to put a deposit down for their res as well. They will link your reservations in their system also.

3) yes.

Keep in mind, the is only if you booked through Disney with the AAA discount. If you went through AAA they will need to call for you.

Thanks for the answers! Seems easy enough. And I did book directly through Disney with the AAA discount. Appreciate the reply!
