I had booked a trip for my parents and I for September back in February and paid $225.50 out of Islip, Long Island. Now the price is $141.50. I just got off the phone with Delta and got the name and city that I was calling (thanks Beverly Lynn for reminding us on another post). I was told that we will each get a "confirmation" in the mail for a saving of $88.00 each (but my calculations come out to $84 each).
I had asked her if this was a "voucher". She said it is a "confirmation" that could be used as a "voucher". She claimed I could just call up in order to use this "confirmation" and the information will be on their computer. I know from another post that an airline only had two out of the four "vouchers" in their system. Does this sound right to you?
I had called back Delta three other times and each time was told it is a "confirmation". You don't get a "voucher" in the mail.
