Just wanted to know from some experts if you can stop at like a grocerey store and get breakfast items and maybe an ice chest and bottled water and take it in the room with you. We are staying at the Hardrock in eary july . Want to try and save money on bottled water since it is so expensive. And instead of eating at the parks in the morning, just maybe eating something quick in the room. Also does Hardrock have like a free ice machine or even one that you pay for. Thanks in advance

Yep, that's what we always do. We always have snacks, bottled water, etc. on hand. Sometimes we don't feel like having a big breakfast so we'll just have PopTarts or muffins in our room. Plus, I always have to have water to drink in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning. Yes, there are ice machines (free) at HRH. :)

We always do this and it works out great! We keep milk, sodas, and bottled water in our cooler and replenish it with ice as needed. It is convenient and easy on the pocketbook to have breakfast and snacks in the room.

Welcome aboard. I've got web pages just for you.

Yes, you can bring coolers. Carrying them up to your room can be a bit of work, but it's worth it in the end. The ice machines are located near the elevators, which are in the middle. It's a long walk if your room is at the end of the hall way. I would carry my cooler with the ice bucket to the ice machine, and fill it. It's good to do this in the morning, because they can run out of ice in the evening as everyone gets ice at that time.

I take softside coolers with us when we go to florida. One I use as my carryon, and one folds up flat in my suitcase. The one I take on the plane has several side pockets and very sturdy. I put snacks in it (nothing that has to be cold) and anything I need to keep with me. It works great and I have two coolers without taking up a lot of space.
