Question on booking using 2 contracts..

Say I want to book a reservation at my home resort (IE: BLT) for a week next April. I only have enough "home resort" points to book 3 of the 7 nights (and I don't want to borrow from UY Dec 2010 next year). I want to use points from another contract (OKW) but will have to wait for the 7 month window. Am I allowed to book the first 3 nights at 11 mos, and then add on to the reservation using my other points at 7 months (pending availability on the rest of those nights of course)?

Yes, you can do that. Pending availability of course.

At 7 months what you'll actually do is make a separate reservation for the four new nights. You then have MS link the two reservations. That way you'll stay in the same unit and won't have to move.

If you really want just a single reservation, then you'd actually cancel the first 3-night reservaion and book a new 7-night vacation. You can do it this way also, of course that depends on availability for all 7-nights. If you cancel the 1st three nights, and there's a waitlist, you could lose them.
