Eeeeeewwwww, now I am itching all over. GRRRRRROOOOOOOSSSSSS

I do scrap the bad, for the most part.

My then 18-month old DS had Craniosynostosis and had to have a 6-hour surgery and 5 day stay in the hospital. It was horrible for him, he face bruised, his eyes were black, and his very visible surgical scar was across his head from ear to ear. They shaved part of his hair, and the scar just looked gross, but it's in the pictures. I did an 8x8 album of just his surgery. Most of it is journaling, but there are pictures and most of them aren't pretty. It was a big event in his life, and he looks at the album fairly often (he's 4 now). It was hard to do the album, but at the same time, I wanted him to know what he went through. I have shown it to one other parent of a cranio kid before her dd's surgery.

I took pictures of my wrecked Jeep, but I didn't end up putting those in the album.

I have photos of the not so good times, but since I don't really scrap for myself yet, they are still just photos in a box.

I always itch all day on the day we do lice checks at school. You always see all of the teachers scratching their heads when they think no one is looking!

I scrapped when my ds got his ear tubes, the night we ended up at the ER for croup, my dd's tonsils, etc.

We has one of those "Year of Bugs" a few years back. I washed those goshdarn blankets and pillows so many times they just about fell apart. But I didn't think to scrap it.

I did however, scrap when DH was taken out of 6 Flags in an ambulance. No pictures (I was too busy crying!) but I had his hospital bracelet and the journalling. And I do scrapbook the "less than stellar" moments of vacation because I will inevitably have pictures of those too.

I take pictures of everything. I have not actually begun scrapping yet, but I have a huge tub of supplies and a big tub of pictures. In the end we will have multiple albums and yes, I plan to scrap it all!
