What are the chances for walkup dining during Jan 27th to Feb 1st? I made a few ressies but we like to kind of go with the flow. LOL

My guess says that is not a terribly busy period of time, so you should be able to get walk-ups. However, it is during a free dining period.

It seems like there are usually walk-ups available somewhere, it might not just be at the place you want or at the time you want. Especially if you want to eat in a theme park. So if there is somewhere you really want to eat (or at a specific time when you must eat), then I would make the ADRs. If you're willing to try less popular places and/or eat at off times, then you'll probably find walk-ups available.

1) Very good chances.
2) Comparatively speaking, WDW is dead right now.
3) There are lots of eating times open.
4) If really interested in one, I'd still make the ADR.
5) For others, play it by ear.

I am there during those same dates. I went ahead and made a few ADRs for things where I wanted to have something at a particular time (e.g., Crystal Palace before MK opens) or that I knew would be harder to get (e.g., Cinderella's Royal Table).

But I am also leaving several slots open so that we can play it by ear. We will probably go with mostly TS restaurants, but this way we can be more flexible and not have to rush around to get to ADRs. And if we have a few QS in there on some days, well, that's fine, too.

And even if you have your heart set on something that isn't available right now -- CRT is completely booked up now for that time period from what I can tell -- try again just a few days before your trip. I found that when we went last year over spring break, a lot of things opened up just a few days in advance (no doubt to avoid the cancellation/pre-payment fees). I was able to get a CRT reservation just 3 days before we went down, after seing NOTHING there for months beforehand.

Thank you all. Thats kind of what I figured. We have never been to Disney in the off season so its a new experience. We were there last July and actually got a walkup for LeCellier on a whim as it opened one day. To say the least we were ecstatic and surprised!
