Question I didn't think to ask this morning about our AP discount...

Our dates are 9/27-10/1. That last night, I believe, does not fall within the dates of the newly released AP rates. I had her apply the discount to my current reservation, but didn't think to ask what happens with that last night. Do they apply the discount to it too since our reservation starts within the dates or do I have to call later to get a discount on that last night? Or can I even? It appears when I look up rates online that they do not discount that last night but I am not sure how it works

I was told by the cast member I talked to last night that as long as you check in within the dates the offer is available it will carry over for your entire stay (up to 14 days).

For free dining yes, but not usually for room discounts. A couple of years ago I had one night that was not included in the AP discount dates. I was able to find another discount to cover that one night, but if I hadn't it would have been at rack rate. For that matter I currently have a bounceback room only deal booked for Oct 27th-Nov 4th. At the moment Nov 4th is at rack rate, because it was not included in the bounceback dates. I'm hoping for an AP or GP discount to cover that last night. If one does come out I'll have to make a separate reservation to cover just that one last night.

OK so I should change my current reservation to be just from the 27th-29th with the discount applied and then make a second reservation from the 29th-30th and apply the discount when the next round of AP rates are released? It's a BWI Deluxe room, so the savings is substantial, even for one night.
