Im not really saure where to post this so forgive me if it is in the wrong place. So im already booked at allstar music for 4 nights 5 days and my flight is booked to. My boyfriend and i are ready to go. Except i got an idea. It is my DBF's first time going to the world and i wanted to do something special. I thought it would be nice to surprise him with a stay at the animal kingdom lodge for the last night were there. However i dont know if disney allows this. Could i stay at asmu for 3 nights and then 1 night at akl under the same package and everything?

It's called a Split Stay, but I don't know any of the details. I think you can book "room only" for that night, since you already have the rest of the package details. If you have dining, I'm not sure how that's effected.

So, basically, my answer is this: It can be done, but I don't have a clue how. Why not call Disney Reservations and ask.

And, by the way, are you AAA? Since it's room only, you could book it yourself and get the AAA discount.

Yes you would need to do a split stay. Each would require a separate deposit. If you have a package the second one would need to have at least a one day ticket for each of you. You could do a room only and then you would not need to buy the tickets for the one night.

FYI, the only way to get the dining plan is to purchase a package which would include hotel & tickets. (if you did this you would have to buy a 1 day ticket which would run you each about $70 each), but the cost of the additional day ticket on your existing reservation would only be $1-2 more. Dining plan is only going to save you each $38 per night, but would cost you $70 each for the park ticket.

I would book a "room only" (if you have aaa see if they are offering a discount), and add the additional day ticket onto your 1st reservation.

Another option is if you really want the dining, then book it as a package with the one day ticket but don't use the ticket. Since it will expire 14 days from 1st use you could hold onto it for a future trip. And add the additional day park ticket to your exisiting reservation.

this seems complicated! maybe i will wait til next trip to do this so i don't have to go back and change everything. thanks for all your help!
By the way i do have the dining plan and i got free park hopper and waterpark so im not sure how that would factor in also. yes i do have AAA.
