Question: getting to breakfast ADR at Grand Floridian

We have a 9:25am ADR at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast in the middle of our trip next month. We will be staying at BWV. We will have the car with us, but because I have read about parking issues at BWV midday, I am concerned...especially since it is a Saturday that we have the ADR (it can't be changed because my parents and sister leave that morning and this is when we can all fit it in together...going for characters for the kids).

If we didn't want to lose our spot in the parking lot, what is the best way to get to the GF from BWV? Is it better to take the MK bus and then the monorail, or walk to DHS and take the bus to the GF from there? For a 9:25am ADR we are planning to meet there at 9am. What time would you leave BWV? Thanks!

We went the other way from GF to cape may. We took the monrail to MK and then the bus to BC. It will probably be easier the other way as we had to get one of the cms get us a bus saying they were going back to BC/BW.

Oh and we had the same time ADR. I think we gave ourselves an hour - an hour and a half.

Another option might be to grab a taxi, as well. Then you get to sleep in a little longer!

i would go w/the MK bus and then the monorail... you should not need more than an hour from your meeting time (so 8am)... but when you get on the bus, let the driver know you are headed to the GF for b'fast as sometimes they will drop off at MK and continue on to the monorail resorts... we've had great success with it!

Thanks for this tip!! We'll take the bus to MK and then the monorail, but we will do as you said, and let the bus driver know we are going to GF.

On the way back maybe we will take the bus from GF to DHS and then take the boat back to BW. We aren't going to a theme park that day, and my boys would probably like to do the boat ride for a change on the way back!!

I recommend the MK bus and then the boat from the MK to GF. The boat goes directly from MK to GF and then on to the Poly. The monorail from the MK will stop at the Contemprary, then the Poly and then onto GF.

I agree with the cab option lol! We have taken a cab many times from BWV to GF and it has never been much more than $15 and there always cabs at the BW or the valet calls them over really fast. The extra 45 mins in the morining would be worth it.

Otherwise I would take the bus to MK and then the monorail or boat (but only if it were there). Give yourself an hour plus.

I agree that getting a taxi would be the best and fastest option.
